Saint Ouen Cedex, France – Réseau Ferré de France, ALSTOM and SNCF launch the French Excellence in Very High Speed Rail Transport Program

18 December 2006 Dominique Perben, French Minister of Transport, Public Works, Tourism and Marine Affairs, Michel Boyon, Chairman of Réseau Ferré de France, Philippe Mellier, Chairman of ALSTOM Transport and Anne-Marie Idrac, Chairman of SNCF, announced the launch of the French Excellence in Very High Speed Rail Transport Program.

Devised jointly by Réseau Ferré de France, ALSTOM and SNCF, the program aims to define the role of high speed transport for the coming years and will enable France to maintain its position as world market leader in very high speed rail transport.
