Move the green way with SWARCO in Amsterdam

Wattens, Austria – “Moving the green way” will introduce Intertraffic visitors to how SWARCO solves road safety and traffic management problems with environmentally friendly and emission-reducing solutions. Intertraffic Amsterdam opens on April 1st (no joke) and lasts until April 4th. You will find SWARCO on stands 04.302 and 04.303 in the Oosthal.

The TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT division will launch two innovations:
FUTURA – a completely new LED traffic signal that encapsulates SWARCO FUTURIT’s entire know-how combining a new slim and robust design, ecological production and raw material use, low power consumption and brilliant optical performance.
OMNIA is the new integrated software solution for urban traffic control centres from SWARCO company Mizar Automazione. OMNIA encompasses fully automated and adaptive control principles as well as traffic responsive and traffic actuated strategies, added to up-to-date traffic monitoring techniques and flexible solutions to integrate a large variety of traffic light controllers.

Our MATERIALS division – represented in Amsterdam by SWARCO VESTGLAS, M. SWAROVSKI, LIMBURGER LACKFABRIK, STOLLREFLEX, IMS and SWARCO INDUSTRIES – will exhibit the latest high performance road marking systems.
This includes various approaches to wet night visibility systems as well as special solutions such as indoor markings, race course markings, and luminescent systems to mark escape routes. IMS’ multi-color world of preformed thermoplastic and newly homologated temporary pavement marking tapes will be on display.
SWARCO’s bead factories come up with plus9beads® that provide excellent retroreflectivity as an integral part of airport taxiway markings and structured road markings. Additionally you will be informed about a very cost-effective way to dramatically increase night visibility and retroreflectivity of thermoplastic markings by swarco no. 1 beads combined with plus9spots reflective compounds and MEGALUX-BEADS®.
