Beijing ITS World Congress releases Call for Papers

Submission deadline 15 January 2007

Brussels, Belgium – The Call for Papers for the 14th World Congress and Exhibition on ITS in Beijing, 9-13 October 2007 has been released. Online submission of contributions will end on 15 January 2007.

With the theme ’ITS for a Better Life’, the Beijing Congress will bring together representatives of governments and related organisations, as well as industry experts from many countries in the world, providing a platform to exchange ideas on ITS and discuss strategies and initiatives.

Call for Papers contents
You are heartily encouraged to take part in this event and share your ITS expertise and experience, and the Call for Papers will steer you in the right direction on how to do so. The 12-page document contains all of the necessary information on how to submit your contribution, including the wide range of potential programme topics, specifics on the format, and key dates and information on the notification and approval process. Details regarding Special Sessions are also included.

Besides this relevant information for potential programme participants, the Call for Papers also gives a first taste of what’s to come for the first ITS World Congress to be held in China. Welcome letters from high-level Chinese officials, Congress highlights and an at-a-glance schedule are included, as well as information about sponsorship opportunities and Exhibition information.
