This will be the first "live drive" barrier crash demonstration in the Middle East.

IRF members Highway Care from England and Barrier Systems from the United States will be impacting an innovative portable steel barrier called the BarrierGuard 800 Steel Barrier System at a speed of about 80 km/h with a vehicle weighing about 1500kg.

"This exciting demonstration will give Seminar attendees and Roadteq visitors the opportunity to see first hand the life saving performance of one of today’s state of the art technologies," said Mike Dreznes, IRF Deputy Director General, who will be teaching the Seminars in Doha.
