Atkins wins national environmental accolade UK

Epsom, Surrey, United Kingdom – Multidisciplinary consultancy Atkins has once again been voted as having the "Best Overall Reputation in Environmental Consultancy" in a national study.

The accolade comes in the highly regarded Edie.net Environmental Consultancy Survey 2006 of the UK’s 50 largest environmental consultancies. Edie, which stands for Environmental Data Interactive Exchange, surveyed nearly 2,000 people working in environmental consultancy.

Atkins was voted as having the best reputation in:

  • Overall environmental consultancy
  • Contaminated land consultancy
  • Corporate social responsibility
  • Environmental Impact Assessments and Strategic Environmental Assessments
  • Integrated pollution prevention and control consultancy

Atkins also topped the poll as the company in the sector that survey participants would most like to work for.

It is a tribute to the hard work of our staff across the country that Atkins has been recognised in this way."
