Essen, Germany – At its meeting, the Supervisory Board of HOCHTIEF Construction AG resolved to appoint Mr. Heiner Helbig (47) and Mr. Henner Mahlstedt (51) as members of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Construction AG for a period of five years with effect from October 1, 2005.

As new Executive Board member, Mr. Helbig, currently member of the Management Board of the HOCHTIEF Development division, will take over responsibility for the commercial functions of Dr. Burkhard Lohr as of January 1, 2006, when Dr. Lohr takes on his new position on the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft.

Mr. Mahlstedt, currently Managing Director of the East division of HOCHTIEF Construction AG, will be responsible for the Construction International, Consult and Market Development & Relations functions. He will also continue to be directly responsible for his current field of tasks.
