United Kingdom – The Highways Agency invites the public to view proposals for a link road between the M54 and M6/M6 Toll next month.

Public information exhibitions will be held in three locations on three separate dates.

On Wednesday July 12th 2006, an exhibition will be held from 14:00 BST to 20:00 BST at Featherstone Community Centre, Baneberry Drive, Featherstone.

An exhibition will be held on Thursday July 13th 2006 from 14:00 BST to 20:00 BST at Essington Community Centre, Hobnock Road, Essington.

At Cheslyn Hay Village Hall, Pinfold Lane, Cheslyn Hay, an exhibition will be held on Friday July 14th from 14:00 BST to 20:00 BST.

"An announcement was made in May that funding to construct this road was to be made available by Macquarie Infrastructure Group (MIG) from resources released from re-financing the M6 Toll," said Highways Agency project leader Paul Nagra.

"These exhibitions will give an opportunity for the public to see our outline proposals and how we will be taking them forward.

"We hope people will come along to the exhibitions to learn more about the processes and the scheme proposals, and put questions to our project team."
