From the 7th until the 9th of June 2016, the 6th edition of the international Smart City Event takes place in the Amsterdam ArenA. Hosted by Amsterdam. The City of Amsterdam is the winner of the European Capital of Innovation Award. Over 600 smart City Professionals come together in Amsterdam with over 30 different nationalities. More than 30 cities and the leading international Smart City Keynotes, including chairman Ger Baron, will be on stage to present their unique projects. During these 3 days there will be several keynote speeches, but also excursions, round table sessions, Bootcamps and practical cases including Valencia, Sant Cugat, Lyon, Yanbu (Saoedi Arabië), Malaga, London, Dubai, Singapore, Barcelona… and more!

Program

Tuesday 7th of June: Smart excursion to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Visit the front running projects and hear all about the way they started and the opportunities and challenges they face.

Wednesday the 8th of June: Keynotes speeches from Keynotes speeches from Peter Bakker, Vice President World Business Council, Eberhard van der Laan, Mayor City of Amsterdam, Viktor Mayer-Schönberger, Author of the best-selling book ‘Big Data’ and Jeremy Leggett, Writer, Social Entrepreneur, Founder of Solarcentury and SolarAid, unique college Tours with these keynote speakers and 27 Round Table Sessions.

Also on the 8th the Exclusive Book Launch of the Dutch version of ‘Winning the Carbon War’ of Jeremy Leggett!

Thursday the 9th of June: Matchmaking Morning, Bootcamps: Smart Mobility, Smart Data, Smart Energy, Circular City and Smart Society.
