1st World Forum on Sustainable Mobility postponed

Nantes, France – Governance & Mobility – the 1st World Forum on Sustainable Mobility, due to take place in Nantes from 10th to 12th December, has been postponed. Just two weeks prior to its inauguration, the recent social conflicts in the transport sector, as well as uncertainty surrounding the development of events, have impaired preparations for the Forum. Indeed, certain participants and speakers have expressed concern about the possible difficulties that they may encounter with regard to transportation. In light of such uncertainty, the organisers have decided to postpone the Forum.

This decision will nevertheless enable the long term consolidation of the real notion of “Governance & Mobility”, an innovative concept heartily welcomed by all the professional networks, notably at international level.

Such postponement will also enable pursuance of the on-going world cooperative process, backed by all the member institutions of the scientific and pilot committees, as well as by the relevant experts.

We will endeavour to inform you of the new dates for the Forum as soon as they are known, sustainable mobility being more than ever a core topic of the globe’s environmental headlines…
