Infrasite Commercial News Commercial News Article Company: Amsterdam RAI AQUATECH CHINA wins US Trade Fair Certification Aquatech China 2009 draws US exhibitors and visitors to Shanghai Amsterdam, The Netherlands - The United States (US) Commercial Service (CS) of the US Department of Commerce has endorsed the benefits of American companies exhibiting at Aquatech China 2009, the top quality international exhibition for process, drinking and waste water, by giving the show its Trade Fair Certification status. Now is the right time to enter the Chinese market, as the Chinese government is planning huge investments in the water industry. The largest water technology show in China will be held next year from June 3-5 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. The certification ensures the event has support from the Commercial Service in both the USA and China and will enable US exhibitors in the increasingly popular WQA Pavilion and the US Pavilion at Aquatech China to benefit more from the show by working with CS trade experts to find the right buyers and partners. The Trade Fair Certification programme seeks to expand the export base for US companies by introducing them to key trade fairs where they can meet their export objectives. The US Commercial Service, based in Washington DC (USA), believes Aquatech China to be the ‘gateway’ to the Chinese water market and that the show offers US companies excellent opportunities. Aquatech Senior Product Manager, Paddy Young, commented: “The certification makes Aquatech China an even more attractive show for American companies, both as visitors and exhibitors. We have always enjoyed good exhibitor support from US companies for all Aquatech Global Events and, over the years, exhibitor and visitor numbers to our shows have risen by almost 30%.
