GATSO introduces its new T-series enforcement platform. The T-Series now offers even more flexibility, sophisticated performance with minimum installation time and maximum efficiency.

The GATSO history of innovations in road safety for over 55 years is unique. After the introduction of the T-series in 2012, the company continued to develop and improve its capabilities, resulting in an even more powerful platform offering unrivalled flexibility. The main strength of the newest T-Series Platform lies in its ability to adapt to each customer’s specific requirements, while meeting modern market demands of low cost of ownership and maximized return on investment. To achieve this, new features were added to the solution platform, including fully automated alignment, vehicle classification, creep speed detection and the ability to be deployed virtually anywhere. The system has the shortest installation time in the market, made possible by the wizard-based setup and auto alignment feature. The compact and light weight system can be deployed as a fixed installation but also in the rear of an enforcement vehicle or on a tripod. Of course, there is the freedom to integrate custom functions and hardware into the modular design.

Timo Gatsonides, Managing Director at GATSO ‘All of these new features increase user friendliness, speed of installation and the overall flexibility of the T-Series. The same aspects also significantly contribute to the profitability of the investment, and maximize the effective use of resources. Think of minimizing the need for road closures, reduced downtime and no more extensive training of operators. This ease-of-use also minimizes the risk of human errors, so no more canceled citations. It delivers the convenience of a consumer product in a high-end industrial system.’

Every module of the T-Series is purpose-built for automated traffic enforcement, with no compromises in regard to image quality, accuracy and reliability. In contrast to laser-based systems, the new RT4 radar operates at up to seven meters in height, where its view of up to six lanes is never blocked by large vehicles on the nearer lanes. The web based user interface complements the flexibility, with remote access through any web-enabled device to monitor speed limit settings and all enforcement configurations.
